The third Joint International Symposium on Macrocyclic & Supramolecular Chemistry (III ISMSC) is being organized by Professors Eric V. Anslyn and Jonathan L. Sessler of The University of Texas at Austin.  It will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada (USA) on July 13-18, 2008.

The (III) ISMSC is a combination of the long running International Symposium of Macrocyclic Chemistry (ISMC) and the International Symposium of Supramolecular Chemistry (ISSC).

The Las Vegas venue offers inexpensive room accommodations and food, as well as a broad choice of entertainment throughout the city: acrobats, musicals, comedians, magicians, gambling, etc.

The symposium will feature a series of more than 60 lectures from
leaders in the supramolecular and macrocyclic fields and from young up-and-
coming researchers in this area.  The organizers are thus confident that the presentations and interpersonal interactions will be inspiring and thought-provoking.

In addition to the invited lectures, two extensive poster sessions will be held and contributions for such presentations are being actively solicited.
